Your Work Term At-A-Glance
Strategic Pricing and Financial Management supports GBP with regards to all aspects of strategic pricing of fees & interest rates, forecasting & Planning, expense management and related analytics.

Key Accountabilities:
Understand and Contribute to the Business Line Strategy by delivering actionable recommendations based on profitability analysis, market trends, policy analysis and end-to-end process enhancements
Support day to day strategic pricing group activities
Interact with Sales, Business Support Centre, Technology teams and Product Labs on the development and enhancements of different pricing & billing systems minimize revenue leakage and enhance functionalities
Data Analytics: Conduct analysis on portfolio composition, pricing structures, vintages of expired agreements, discount levels, client volumes, renewals, depth of relationship, etc. Use data analytics to provide pricing recommendations and/or policy changes
Recommend solutions to improve customer experience, product pricing, service and/or process
Conduct impact assessments (on customers, operations and risk) when changes affecting processes are proposed
Assist with new projects and provide input into the review of business requirements, including supporting technology initiatives
Maintain a culture of risk management and control supported by effective processes and ensure all systems and processes are in compliance and meet all regulatory requirements
You are the perfect fit for this role if you have/ are:
Enthusiastic self-starter with ability to prioritize and multi-task, working both independently and within a team environment
High degree of strategic thinking and comfort in doing financial analysis and business casing opportunities
Analytical thinking and an ability to deliver actionable recommendations from analysis in a timely manner
Proven ability to assess competitive landscape for produce and make recommendations to close any competitive gaps
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong collaborator who engages colleagues and business partners on developing and executing on strategic recommendations
Flexibility to adapt and manage within a dynamic business environment
Analytic skills, statistical modeling and experience with Python, Access, SQL and VBA is an asset.
