Manager, Program Management – Everyday Banking

Purpose

 

Manages Retail Customer Growth Programs in Canada, focusing on MASS and Digital Acquisition programs for D2D Chequing and HISA product lines. Ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

Key Accountabilities 

 

•    Leads and organizes cross-functional work teams to execute D2D Acquisition programs that drive client acquisition, onboarding, deeper customer relationships (x-sell, product adoption, and product usage), and long-term loyalty. 

 

•    Strong relationship and leadership skills, to obtain alignment on program strategy from cross-functional team. Maintain strong working relationships, motivating and holding key partners and stakeholders accountable, to ensure flawless execution of programs.

 

•    High attention to detail, managing high level and granular program timelines and tasks, including delivering programs to meet agreed budget.

 

•    Contributes to the design, flawless execution, and optimization of MASS and Digital marketing programs in support of achieving target revenue and profitability objectives for the Day-to-Day and HISA Product Portfolios.  

 

•    Develop and lead omni-channel channel programs (TV, Radio, OOH, Digital display, Search, Social, Affiliate and owned assets) to optimize performance.

 

•    Open and proactive communication to Sr. Managers, Directors, and VPs on progress with campaigns, updates on issues/hurdles with suggestions/recommendations and updates on campaign performance vs projections 

 

•    Evolve personalization and optimization of customer value propositions to effectively excite prospects and customers.

 

•    Optimize program performance by performing necessary analysis, test/learn, creating sound business justification for Marketing program investments.

 

•    Continually monitor current and historical trends (internal and external) and keep abreast of the competitive landscape in order to anticipate future optimization opportunities.  

 

•    Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of Day-to-Day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
 

 

Education and Other Requirements

 

•    3+ years of management experience, including in Product Management, Marketing or Finance role(s).

•    Understanding of Retail Products financials and P&L levers 

•    Strong strategic thinking and results focus skills

•    Strong facilitator, with the ability to lead team of senior contributors to overall objectives

•    Demonstrated success in leading teams and working cross-functionally  

•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
