Operations Developer (Application Support)

The Role

As Operations Developer, you will be focused on managing, enhancing and operating critical batch processing within the Financial Crimes and Management Reporting Technology group. You will actively partner with Development, Architecture, Vendors and other stakeholders to create and prioritize batch execution to help meet regulatory timelines for case work related to the global AML business strategy. The scope of this role is to work as part of a group of Operations Developers for batch systems that enable financial crimes identification (Customer Risk Ratings), Name Scanning and case management (Enterprise Case Management) based around a vendor system.  Theses system support over 1500 users globally and are critical in the fight against financial crime. 

 

 

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

Identifies operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; investigating complaints and suggestions; interviewing process supervisors and operators; completing troubleshooting procedures.
Identifies operational priorities by assessing operational objectives; determining project objectives, such as, efficiency, cost savings, energy conservation, operator convenience, safety, environmental quality; estimating relevance, time, and costs.
Develops operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions; calculating economics; determining impact on total system.
Anticipates operational problems by studying operating targets, modes of operation, unit limitations; monitoring unit performance.
Improves operational quality results by studying, evaluating, and recommending process re-design; implementing changes; contributing information and opinion to unit design and modification teams.
Provides operational management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering data and trends.
 

 

What You Will Bring to Succeed

5 years experience in related job duties as defined in responsibilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages- SQL, HTML, Java, Python
Excellent Excel and Microsoft office skills
Thoughtful, analytical and well organized with impeccable attention to detail;
Ability to work evening and over night to perform operations role;
Intellectually curious with a desire to learn and grow within an organization;
