Job Overview:

The main function of the Platform Specialist is to provide solutions architecture oversight for new HR & related projects according to timelines and budget while following accepted programming, testing and change control standards, and accepted business intelligence technology best practices. The role is hands-on and requires a thorough understanding of the detailed design of the proposed solutions. Domain expertise is needed in HR, VM, Procurement processes, Category Sourcing; P2P, Invoicing, Contract LifeCycle Management, Global Payments; IT enablers, Procurement digital transformation & Integration methodologies.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Excellent client facing skills (ability to articulate value & rationale of proposed solution, both in written, oral or presentation format)
Capability to develop solutions within a complex and demanding environment
Lead all aspects of implementation and complete all HR & related configuration components and Integration
Develops architecture which supports HR, onboarding & related requirements, including performance, scalability, security, and manageability
Sustains the on-going transformation to a Continuous Deployment model through high-level of automation
Work with Design Authority and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure consistency in Design & implementation across Product Capabilities teams
Present and defend architecture, design, and technique choices to internal and external audiences
Identify strategic opportunities and drive cross-business and cross-functional change
 Define and document the structure, connections and relationships of business processes, organizational work groups, data models, applications, user interfaces, applications interfaces, infrastructure and network topology
Provide standards, guidelines and direction for system architectures, establishing a framework that constrains the design of systems for the purpose of integration of systems and accessibility of data supporting various business processes and functions
Define, design and develop the enterprise systems information architecture to enable cross functional operational reporting and performance optimization
Identify strategic opportunities and drive cross-business and cross-functional change
Experience in business system application design, development and installation
Experience in planning/architecture development and support
Experience designing and implementing advanced application architectures
 

 

Job Requirements:

Must have experience with HR & related systems SAP Fieldglass. Preferably some experience in Oracle products, SmartStream, Coupa/similar procurement, Data management tools, SAP CoWorks
Must have experience with Cloud and Cloud offerings, especially Software as a Service (SaaS); knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle cloud is a plus
Hands on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, development and integration
Experience in the evaluation, weighting, and procurement of industry products and tooling
Working knowledge of industry technology trends and best practices related to system interoperability
Able to perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Thorough knowledge of cloud security, User Authentication, Web-based (Internal & external) Application Authentication
Thorough knowledge of authentication to multi-tenant environments Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and understanding to Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) & understanding of Privileged Account Management.
Hands on experience with API security patterns such as (OAuth2, SAML2.0)
Experienced in designing and developing integration solutions for cloud-based applications ie. cloud computing, service models – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and deployment models – private, public, hybrid etc.
Experience with ETL tools such SSIS (2 years)
Knowledge of Web services – SOAP, REST API
Proficiency in data modeling and experienced in using Oracle, SQL Server as a developer /application DBA
Previous Financial industry experience is a plus (1-2 years)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
