The Enablement Management Office enables the delivery of cross functional programs and business product delivery for Tangerine Bank that align to our corporate strategy. This team oversees IT Enterprise Architecture, Application Development and IT operations initiatives directly, ensuring delivery of outlined requirements.  The Enablement Management Office recognizes that our people and diversity of thought are key to exceptional working teams and by using the right tools and processes we achieve great things.  
The IT Infrastructure Portfolio Lead will provide oversight and support project governance deliverables for all IT projects in the Infrastructure portfolio. In this role, the IT Infrastructure Portfolio Lead oversees all project activities and team members for assigned projects including but not limited to Systems, Infrastructure and process enhancement from initiation through entire life cycle of the Project.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

Provide oversight to assigned project(s) from initiation through entire project life cycle.
Prepare and maintain a high level portfolio level plan/schedule for pipeline of projects that accurately reflects key milestones, time estimates, dependencies and resources, including personnel, technology and equipment requirements based on inputs from IT functional areas.   
Track progress at portfolio level regularly communicating status to project stakeholders using agreed communication plan.
Identify internal and external dependencies, as well as lead times and lag times, in order to calculate the shortest realistic schedule.  Ongoing management of project dependencies and the critical path.  Identification, assessment and resolution of potential conflicts as required.
Manage portfolio/project risks and issues using Tangerine Risk and Issue Management processes.
Conduct regular portfolio status meetings with project stakeholders, to review actual progress against planned activities/deliverables, resources, and project risks and issues. 
Coordinate interaction and communication amongst stakeholders and drive solutions and decisions. 
 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

University or College degree with 3+ years of experience in directly managing technology projects or in a infrastructure operations role preferably in the Canadian banking industry 
Excellent track record managing projects/programs consisting of a variety of resources; business and technology, local and remote and internal and third party
Experience in UNIX/Windows/Linux Service systems or Networking Cisco systems preferred
Project Management certification like PMP, CSM an asset
Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g., MS Projects, JIRA, Visio, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall etc.)
Strong communication (verbal/written/presentation). Mature interpersonal skills with the ability to work with, and influence, all types of professionals
