Responsible for providing instructional design expertise as part of the overall Learning and Development team within the respective business line. This role performs task analysis, develops new training materials and/or enhances existing training materials and provides facilitation, to meet business needs The role partners with business stakeholders, project management teams and subject matter experts to ensure a strong solution is achieved and project timelines are met. The role also ensures all activities are in compliance with governing regulations and the Banks policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
Provides design and development expertise to support implementation of complex learning programs, provides recommendations on learning program design solutions, , and leads working sessions to assess needs and determine recommended outcomes
Supports the identification of issues within their respective business line and determines the data required to develop solutions to address them
Development of scripts or storyboards for digital assets, including video, eLearning, articles, job aids, employee guides or manager guides
Provides ongoing support with maintenance reviews of existing learning programs, ensuring high priority backlog items are included in reviews
Collaborates with HR Services to ensure successful execution of learning programs in accordance with established guidelines and standards
Maintains ongoing relationships with Business HR, COEs, or other groups to understand learning requirements and needs; proposes solutions to improve/enhance learning programs based on provided insights and analysis
Provides support to the overall team as required based on the existing team priorities
Supports business line needs with facilitation of training, as required
Understands how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct

Skills and requirements
Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Adult Education or related field
2-3 years of instructional design experience or related accreditation
Previous experience in executing learning solutions, incorporating Adult Learning Principles
Knowledge of learning theories and learning practices
Strong technical skills (eg: InDesign, Camtasia, MS Office Suite, Adobe Connect, Articulate 360)
Strong understanding of global Learning programs, policies, processes, and operations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact effectively with business teams, conduct interviews with subject matter experts, gather requirements and develop solutions
Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines, accurately estimating time required for deliverables
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Proven teamwork capabilities
Strong business English writing and editing skills
Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
