The Team
Scotiabanks Cybersecurity Operations team is responsible for the detection of incidents and threats including the coordination of key programs that impact all divisions within the Cybersecurity Services area.
The role
The Global Head, Cybersecurity Operations oversees several critical programs at the bank to ensure that there are protections from Data Loss, Detections of Cyber and Data loss events and monitoring of the threat landscape for impacts to the bank. This role partners with several levels of the organization ensuring compliance to standards, directives and industry regulations for the global bank are met.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
You possess advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English. The same in Spanish is a strong asset.
You have 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience in management of threats and incidents
You have 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience with security controls/mechanisms.
You have used industry leading productivity tools to produce quantitative/qualitative reports, data flow diagrams & visual presentations.
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or in a related field.
Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC) would be an asset(s).
